I found the most interesting Sim today. Mississippi Delta blues. Here is the Slur if you want to visit too.

What I loved about it was it made me feel like I was home in the south. Ok, so I still live in the south but this was like walking back a 100 years or so and being in a small sleepy southern town. The only thing missing was people. The Sim gives you such a feeling of being there and being so picture perfect you are just waiting for the streets to fill with people doing their shopping and day to day routine. Those of you who know Second Life know this is true to a extent. We who live there, have homes, family and friends. There are those of us who work in Second life as hard as we play. This Sim brought home that feeling I have been trying to express to those of you who have no clue what Second life is or how real it can become. Yes, I belonged to the nah sayers at one point then a year ago on 12/01/11 I began my journey. This Sim the Mississippi Delta brought home what I feel about second life. I work there, I play there, I have falling in love there and most important is my new second life family is there. I have brothers and sisters from all around the world now. People who I at times I speak to daily and others just now and then. However our lives have forever become tangled together and they are what gets me through the day at times.
My second like seems to reinvent it's self on month basis. I took a job that didn't work out for me and the person I was working for. It set me back emotional as hard as losing what would be referred to as a Real Life job. I see in profiles all the time my REAL Life is that and I keep it separate from Second life so don't ask. Wow, is all that comes to mind. How a person can experience what you do in Second life and be able to turn the computer off and walk away is beyond me. Behind every single avatar you meet there is a living breathing human. They have real feelings and thoughts and options.
Now I am yet on an new journey again. Not sure where this one is going to lead me this time. I have had to close my shop to sell my Kitty Cats due to the lack of income. Just like in the Real world a business in Second life can succeed and make Linden. However it takes hard work and as in Real life you need to be somewhere long enough you can build your customers. PS: if you are reading this and want a Kittycat .. contact me ...no reasonable offer refused .... really I have that many.
